While I had a YouTube channel dating back to 2007, it wasn’t until starting Boter Cooks Something in 2012 that I really started trying to regularly make content on the platform. It wasn’t long until I also started Boter Plays Something, and it eventually became the main output on my channel. Meanwhile, I started streaming on Twitch in 2016, and in 2020 started a regular series called Brunch With Boter in addition to other streams. Interspersed through it all have been other videos on YouTube, from series I don’t do anymore to one-offs I made just because I wanted to try making them. Video output is really fun for me, and finding new ways to indulge in it gives me great joy.
