About Andrew

Andrew is a filmmaker and novelist in addition to a YouTuber, Twitch streamer, and whatever other creative hobbies crop up.

He started making movies after choreographing a lightsaber duel with friends in high school after the release of Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of the Clones, and through that found other filmmakers, local and farther-flung, that he’d work with consistently for the next decade. Together they made fan films, including the feature-length Stargate: Hades, and many original films as well, including Toronto Cybercide: Abstract Messiah. He continues to produce short films independently, such as Breakdown at 238 Hypatia and the award-winning Dungeons & Dark Side.

Also in high school he tried his hand at writing. He will humbly say that there’s less to talk about from this era; a single story that had a decent Act 1, and later on a novella that is… fine. (That single story also got an attempt at a retelling within the setting of the novella. This also didn’t get past Act 1.)

After spending most of his creative outlet in video, he returned to writing in the 2020s with the Treason Duology and eventually How We Stopped the Destroyers. Originally published on r/HFY, he has continued writing short stories in that subreddit and is currently working on another novel. Check out more at his HFY wiki author page.
